The University follows a semester plan. The Fall Semester begins the week before Labor Day and ends in December, prior to the Holiday recess. The Spring Semester begins in early February and ends in late May. A five-week Winter Session is held in January. As a rule, the School of Music does not offer graduate level classes during Winter Session or Summer Session.
