Recital Fee Payment
Recital fees will be charged to your student account alongside your tuition and other course fees.
Recital Costs
Degree Recital Course Fee: $225
Fee helps to offset the costs of providing stage crew, livestreaming, and tuning pianos for all recitals. The actual cost of each individual recital is actually much more than the amount charged. This fee must be paid no matter where your recital is held, whether or not you have a program, use a piano or what the particulars of your recital are. Recital fees are charged to your student account alongside your other tuition charges and course fees.
Non-degree Recital Fee: $275
Any recital that is not required for your degree is considered a non-degree recital.
Additional Piano Fee: $95
The Recital Fee covers the cost of using one piano in your recital. If you need an additional piano, the fee is $95 to cover the additional tuning.
Harpsichord Fee: $300
If the Harpsichord is not your primary instrument, the fee to add use of the Harpsichord to your recital is $300 to cover the additional tunings and moving the instrument.
Technical Support: $75
If your recital requires technical support of any kind, a fee of $75 will be required. This fee covers technical support for your recital and one dress rehearsal. You must confirm your dress rehearsal date with the Event Technician.
Optional Audio Recording: $75
If you would like the Department to audio record your recital, the fee is $75. You will be provided you with a MP3 file and a wav file delivered electronically. Recording fees can be paid at www.udel.edu/recording-fees
Non-Degree Recital Payment
Non-Degree Recital fees and additional fees necessary for your recital (technical, extra equipment, etc.) cannot be paid online and must be paid with cash or check. Recital and recording fees may be paid online or via check or cash.
